Hi Doug, You are still doing a fantastic job with your new blog. I try to read it everyday. The pic of the helicopter is awesome. It looks like it is going to crash. Tell Millie Hi, and I love her boots. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Afternoon Doug,
Very neat shot of the helicopter and snow backdrop. Like you said the contrast is really awesome. I'm guessing this was a response for them? That has to be very tricky, landing in the back woods. Any idea what happened or what they were responding to?

The Helicopter came in to pick up an injured hiker. Everything turned out good.

We were up when Allison almost got carried out by LStar but could not land because of the winds. Heck of a day carrying her back and forth from the Lodge to the LZ
