So sad to see the other web site go. I looked forward every mourning to get the mountain update. It's great to see your continuing on with this web site.
God bless you and I hope to plow my way up there this weekend if possible.

I am thrilled that you will continue. You have made a bunch of people happy this winter by your beautiful photography and words. I am so glad you had the know-how and get-up-and-go to get the blog going. I'm sure there were many days you just wanted to stay warm and hibernate.
I appreciate all your hard work and talent and am so glad you will keep it up! We all live vicariously through you!! One day when you have grandchildren you will have a great story to tell them about your days on LeConte. Now I have to decide on which print to buy!

Yo, Doug! Glad to see you've created a permanent home for your Reflections. I'm hoping you and your camera can get off LeConte and give us some reflections of some of the other great places in The Smokies including - but not limited to - The Hazel Creek area and the Tremont area where I set a fiction novel that was published back in 2002. I think the Sevier County Library has 'Monteith's Mountains' so check it out!
Keep up the good work!

Doug, I have enjoyed your blog and wonderful pictures through the winter and will most certainly keep following you on your new site. My husband and I used to come to the Smokies every opportunity we had, but have been caring for my elderly parents the last few years. It is wonderful to be able to visit our beloved Smokies vicariously through you and your incredible photos. Thank you and God bless!
