Reflections Of The Smokies

I am very grateful that you have stopped by to enjoy my reflections on the Smoky Mountains.  I am glad that you share my love for these mountains.  There is a peace and serenity, a visual and emotional beauty to the Smoky Mountains that I want to take some time to reflect on with you.

Put On Your Boots and Lets Go!
So put your boots on and lets go!  I feel very blessed to be able to spend so much time in the smokies.  If you have spent any time at all here then you may feel like these mountains are your home.

Walk With Me Through The Smokies
Well, there's nothing left to do but come take a walk with me through the Smokies.  We won't take anything but some fantastic photography and maybe a handful of blackberries.  We will leave only our shadows and some warm memories.

Thanks again for joining me here at ReflectionsOfTheSmokies.

I am thrilled that you will continue. You have made a bunch of people happy this winter by your beautiful photography and words. I am so glad you had the know-how and get-up-and-go to get the blog going. I'm sure there were many days you just wanted to stay warm and hibernate.

I appreciate all your hard work and talent and am so glad you will keep it up! We all live vicariously through you!! One day when you have grandchildren you will have a great story to tell them about your days on LeConte. Now I have to decide on which print to buy!

Yo, Doug! Glad to see you've created a permanent home for your Reflections. I'm hoping you and your camera can get off LeConte and give us some reflections of some of the other great places in The Smokies including - but not limited to - The Hazel Creek area and the Tremont area where I set a fiction novel that was published back in 2002. I think the Sevier County Library has 'Monteith's Mountains' so check it out!

Keep up the good work!

Doug, I have enjoyed your blog and wonderful pictures through the winter and will most certainly keep following you on your new site. My husband and I used to come to the Smokies every opportunity we had, but have been caring for my elderly parents the last few years. It is wonderful to be able to visit our beloved Smokies vicariously through you and your incredible photos. Thank you and God bless!

Doug,

Like your new site. Do you realize that we all "live" the Smokies through you? Thanks!! We're all jealous.
