Trillium Found On The Bull Head Trail In The Smokies, 4/10
Spring has finally come in strong enough in the Smokies for some beautiful wildflowers.  The Trillium is one of m favorites.  I saw a lot of Trillium and other wildflowers on the Bull Head Trail going up Mt. LeConte.  I think we will see a fantastic show of blooms this spring.  I hope you will be able to get out and enjoy them as soon as this rain passes.

Thanks for the blog, Doug. It's great--beautiful pix!

There are white trillium along both Newfound Gap road near the Sugarlands Visitor Center and on the road from there to Townsend.

These trillium are beautiful. We have some in our woods behind our house, but they are purple.
