Rhododendron Blooms In The Smokies, 6/10
I'll be volunteering for Trails Day this weekend to give back a little to the Appalachian Trail in the Smokies. I hope you are able to get out and enjoy the beauty of the Smokies this weekend. Take in the Rhodendron Blooms if you can, they won't be around much longer. Have a restful weekend no matter what you do!

Working NPS CHAT also this Sat. Working a new trail base and slope. Hope to have a bunch of voltrs there. Also went to Brevard NC area for holiday, lots of blooms going on, really purty !

How about some out of the crowd places for rhodo. We'll be coming next weekend to see the fireflies at Elkmont and are looking for a trail with lots of Rhododendron. Guess it's a little late for the laurel but we love it too. Thanks.
