Wow Doug, It looks like an oil painting, look at the shading and the highlight. God was a wonderful artist to create such beauties and you had it in your hand. Awesome

truly a great photo; I have dozens of hummingbirds around my home, but never have I actually held one; they often fly right up my face and take a good look at me, then zoom off.

ahhhh, I've always wanted to hold one. The are so precious. We have several at home. I'm so glad you rescued him.

They are really cool birds. I had one in my face also and it was a wonderful sight & sound (wings going 100 MPH)

One got in our sunroom one time. I thought I would never catch it. It got on the ceiling fan and went from blade to blade. I finally caught it and it was wonderful to hold it in my hand. They are so soft and weigh nothing. I didn't want to let it go. Awesome!!!!!!!! Very good pic!!!!!!
